GOOD DESIGN - ICIING ON THE CAKE
In graphic design we don’t make the most important content but we certainly make it more interesting and “tempting” to digest. Incorporate basic design principals to create visual appeal, creating stunning and sophisticated layouts with impact. These principles include the importance and types of contrast, consistency without becoming stale, using certain types of images to pique interest, layout balance with negative space, and the importance of “leading the eye” to the important stuff. We live in a visual society and time. Don’t sell this aspect short or you might bake a delicious cake no one is enticed to try.
